Read on... find out what makes our Dr. Collin's and Dr. Brandon's techniques so different from other chiropractic techniques:

The Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic Technique!

The first and biggest difference, and what separates our clinic from so many others, is this method of chiropractic adjustment.  This scientific technique is a very BIG deal!  The Blair method of chiropractic adjustment focuses on dysfunction in the body that derives from musculoskeletal issues in the neck. It's gentle and precise, not your typical "twist, pop or crack" method, and the results are remarkable.  You'll experience relief from migraines, neck pain, shoulder pain, carpal tunnel symptoms, wrist pain, finger numbness and so many other ailments with Blair Upper Cervical Care.

If you are being treated with other chiropractic techniques that aren't getting you the relief you need, you'll want to contact us for an appointment that will change your life.

What is so special about the Blair Upper Cervical technique?

This light-force, precise method of upper cervical chiropractic care, named after Dr. William G. Blair, requires specialized training and can only be performed by a select group of chiropractors.  When attaining their Doctorates at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Struble and Dr. Riebling sought out this amazing approach to chiropractic care and adjustment.  Through specific training, they have perfected this precise method of upper cervical analysis and adjustment to enable them to locate the source of a patient's pain and correct it with minimal trauma to the body.

This upper neck segment of the spine is the epicenter of the body's nerves, and is comprised of two powerful vertebrae called the atlas and axis. Having the ability to precisely address these two important vertebrae utilizing the Blair Upper Cervical Technique is the key to our Chiropractor's success in helping so many patients with mis-diagnosed issues, migraines, and other chronic and acute conditions. When there is pain or dysfunction in the body or organs, our Doctors look first to the upper neck.

The angle of the adjustment is the key to easing the vertebrae out of subluxation.

Understanding the importance of the upper neck is what makes our Chiropractors so effective. The upper neck, or upper cervical segment of the neck, can move out of alignment as early as the birthing process, and then as a consequence of sports or personal injuries, neck trauma, repetitive work tasks, and even from improper sleep positions. Misalignment, or subluxations, in the neck put pressure on the base of your brainstem. This, in turn, interferes with the free flow of signals as they travel through your nervous system, causing malfunction and pain in the body in places you might not think are associated with a neck issue. Neck pain, migraines, headaches, dizziness, vertigo, anxiety, carpal tunnel symptoms, and other unexplained ailments come about as a result of these pinched nerves.

The Thompson Drop Low-Impact Chiropractic Method

Our Chiropractors also utilize the Thompson Drop Method as a primary method of chiropractic adjustment for precise access and gentle movement of the spine and body.  This technique is performed on specialized hydraulic HI-LO jointed tables that allow them to place your body into the optimal neutral position for assessing the condition of your spine. They can then address each segment of your spine with precision. With our specialized tables, they can control the height and tension of the jointed table, thereby allowing light force movement and manipulation to the exact vertebrae, with no traumatic popping and cracking to the spine.

Kids need chiropractic too!

You may not have considered chiropractic care as a primary means of keeping your child healthy, but our Chiropractor's gentle, kid-friendly techniques are the safest option for getting to the root of your child's issues.  Spinal misalignment can result in posture issues, ear and sinus illnesses, trouble sleeping, behavioral issues, bed wetting, anxiety, sluggishness, and can be the cause of many other symptoms.  These issues can originate from a difficult birth, falls, head injuries, sports injuries, and day to day trauma caused by repetitive tasks, like computer and cell-phone use.

From the day your children are born, our Chiropractors encourage parents to bring their babies in for a check-up.  They compare the growth of a baby to that of a bonsai tree, ie: they will grow where their spine directs them.  Start your child off right with a chiropractor that understands how important a healthy, correctly curved spine can be to the structural, physical and mental health of your child.

As a bonus, you'll find that kids really love our Chiropractors and look forward to their visits with them!

Rehabilitation of the Spine

At The Wellness Center of Boise, Chiropractic care includes helping patients improve the health and curvature of their spine. You may not realize the significance of this as you go about your day to day life, but when the spine loses its healthy curve, it creates tension that puts pressure on the discs of the spine, causing them to degenerate faster.

Ergonomics, injuries, sleep habits and other trauma can change the lordotic curve of the spine and effect your health and well being, as well as your nerve function.  Improving this curve can take tension off of the discs, thereby reducing the degenerative effects, improving nerve flow and decreasing wear and tear on your spine.

Our Chiropractors utilize specialized products to restore proper curvature in all regions of the spine. Utlizing a device called the denneroll allows for gentle and effective improvement over a short period of time.  Also incorporating strenghtening exercises, postural exercises and therapeutic rollers into your chiropractic treatment allow for gentle rehabilitation of your spine.

We want you to feel at ease!

If you have had a bad experience with chiropractic in the past, we encourage you to try us out.  Our Chiropractors are different and our many positive reviews are a testament to the experiences and results our patients have had here at The Wellness Center of Boise.  Chiropractic care should not scare you.  Chiropractic done right allows you to enjoy your adjustments and the way you feel as a result!

Also, if you or your family have been to a chiropractor before and are used to a particular style of adjustment, let the doctor know.
Our Chiropractors will be happy to explain the benefits of the methods they prefer, but be assured that they are also trained, hold certifications and utilize many other complementary and effective techniques including Activator, Diversified, Nimmo, Gonstead, Extremities and many other resources to help you get the relief you need.

So please relax, enjoy, and fully benefit from our comfortable clinic and the new lease on life that you'll have as a result of your chiropractic care here at The Wellness Center of Boise.
